Hansarang Fellowship of Hawaii (한사랑 펠로우십 하와이) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Korean-American Christian fellowship located in the heart of Honolulu, Hawaii. The name "Hansarang" (한사랑) means "one love" or "great love" in Korean — reflecting our core commitment to love God with all our hearts and to love one another as Christ has loved us. We are a warm, welcoming community that embraces both Korean and English-speaking members and warmly welcomes people of all backgrounds.
Our mission is to glorify God by building a vibrant Korean-American Christian community in Hawaii — a community rooted in God's Word, enriched by Korean cultural heritage, and united by the love of Jesus Christ. We seek to make disciples, nurture spiritual growth, serve our community, and bridge generations and cultures through the Gospel.
Hansarang Fellowship is proud of its Korean-American heritage. We honor the deep faith tradition of the Korean church while embracing the multicultural spirit of Hawaii. Our fellowship serves as a spiritual home for Korean-Americans in Hawaii, a place where Korean language, culture, and Christian faith are celebrated and passed on to the next generation.
We gather each week for worship services in Korean and English, celebrating God's presence together as a bilingual, bicultural community of faith.
Our primary Sunday worship service is conducted in Korean and is the spiritual heart of our fellowship. We gather for powerful worship through traditional and contemporary Korean Christian music, heartfelt prayer, and expository preaching from God's Word. All are welcome, and translation assistance is available for non-Korean speakers.
Our bilingual Sunday service is designed to bridge generations and welcome English-speaking members and guests. Services include worship, teaching, and fellowship in both Korean and English, making our community accessible to second-generation Korean-Americans and friends from all backgrounds who wish to worship with us.
Our Wednesday evening Bible study provides an opportunity for deeper study of God's Word in a smaller, more intimate setting. We explore Scripture together in Korean and English, apply biblical truth to our lives, and build meaningful relationships as a community of faith. All members and visitors are warmly welcome.
We offer a range of ministries to nurture every member of our fellowship family and reach out to our broader community with the love of Christ.
Our children's ministry provides Korean-American children with a nurturing environment to learn about God's love, develop their faith, and celebrate their Korean-American heritage through age-appropriate teaching, worship, and activities in both Korean and English.
Our youth ministry helps Korean-American teenagers navigate the unique challenges of growing up between two cultures, grounding them in their faith and identity in Christ. Through weekly gatherings, retreats, and mentorship, we equip young people to live boldly for God.
Our women's ministry creates a supportive community for women of all ages and backgrounds to grow in faith, build friendships, and serve together. Through Bible studies, prayer groups, and fellowship events, we celebrate and encourage the women of our church family.
Our men's ministry equips Korean-American men to be godly leaders in their homes, workplaces, and community. Through fellowship, accountability, and Bible study, we help men grow in faith, character, and purpose as followers of Jesus Christ.
We are committed to serving the broader Honolulu community with the practical love of Christ. Our community service programs include support for Korean-American seniors, new immigrants, and families in need, as well as partnerships with local organizations to address community needs.
We are proud to preserve and celebrate Korean language and cultural heritage within our fellowship. We offer Korean language classes, cultural events, and programs that help Korean-American children and youth stay connected to their heritage while building bridges with the broader Hawaii community.
